Job title: Ethiopia Conflict Tracker

Tesla Government Inc seeks a Conflict Tracker who will focus on Ethiopia to support in-depth research and data collection.

This is a remote work contractor position. The initial contract will be for 30 days for 4-8 hours a day.

Position Summary:

Conflict Trackers collect data from social media, foreign language media, and other sources on the Ethiopia conflict. The conflict tracker will also support other research efforts, helping find information on unfolding events

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency (preferably native speaker) in one of Ethiopia’s major languages, ideally Tigrinya
  • English fluency
  • US citizen

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the military and political situation in Ethiopia
  • Experience researching and writing on international topics
