George leads Tesla Government’s finance, legal, HR, and operations functions and plays a key role in setting and executing the firm’s business strategy. He specializes in building and leading collaborative teams focused on client success.

Prior to joining Tesla Government, George spent nearly two decades in roles focused on financial services policy. Most recently, he was the head of US Regulatory Affairs and Policy Development at the Vanguard Group, Inc., where he guided the development of Vanguard’s policy positions and strategies and tactics to advance Vanguard’s public policy agenda. He also has worked in the Law Department of the Investment Company Institute, a trade association for the regulated fund industry, served in the Division of Trading and Markets of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and worked in private legal practice in Washington, DC.
